Senior sales, business development representative

Our team needs a practicing sales/ business development magician to perform magic sales tricks, attract new clients and make sure that tickets to our shows (read our customized services and solutions) are completely sold out (or close to that).

About the Sales/ Business Development Manager (a.k.a. magician) Role:

This role is a hybrid of traditional jobs in sales, sales operations and strategic planning — requiring a fair mix of sales skills, market analysis, sales optimization and business understanding. This team member needs to create and perform illusions (ways to sell) that seem impossible or supernatural to our prospects. We also need a fresh look (probably, under different angle) at the services we offer to develop fresh, unique sales and business perspectives, and drive the business forward.

Required Skills/ Experience of our Future Sales Magician:

  • Strong middle or senior magicians’ guild
    2+ years of work experience in sales (B2B is a strong plus, but not required);
  • Shock magic, mentalism, transformation, levitation and magic spells from time to time
    Prior experience in the software industry is a strong plus (Customer service, SEO or marketing tools industry preferred);
  • Harry Houdini-style sales magic effects and tricks performance
    Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions, and craft high-quality executive presentations;
  • David Copperfield’s ability to inspire and surprise prospective clients
    Very strong executive presence, engagement skills, and strong influence skills;
  • Your readiness to learn new card tricks
    Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands;
  • Only magical and mesmerizing magic.
    At least Upper-Intermediate level of written and oral English.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate and sell our business solutions via GoToMeeting video conferences;
  • Present our services to senior executives, heads of marketing and SEO etc.;
  • Handle client objections and negotiate favorable terms for deals;
  • Learn existing values of our services and plans and contribute to the sales strategy development. Define/ create new values of our product to boost sales;
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current sales model and identify opportunities to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Lead ongoing analysis of sales performance to support daily operations (Zoho CRM);
  • Design and interpret key performance metrics to deliver insights, recommendations and craft plans to address identified weaknesses;
  • Check in with and upsell to current clients;
  • Achieve and exceed an annual sales quota;
  • Drive strategic initiatives including sales funnel and pipeline creation and management;

Reporting:

This role has a direct report to our CEO and COO.
